WCCC Hosts 3rd Annual Career Readiness Workshop
On March 12, 2026, Wildcat Creek Career Cooperative (WCCC) hosted its 3rd Annual Career Readiness Student Workshop, an event focused on helping students prepare for entering the workforce. The workshop brought together 88 students and a variety of business and organizational partners to provide hands-on guidance in essential career-readiness skills at Frankfort First Church of the Nazarene, the event featured workshops on critical topics such as:
- Interview skills
- Resume building
- Workplace communication, confidentiality, and culture
- Banking and financial literacy
- Job searching, networking, and understanding benefits package

The event also featured lunch provided by WCCC, with delicious desserts prepared by Frankfort & Clinton Prairie Culinary Arts pathway students. WCCC extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the partners and volunteers who made this event possible. Their support ensures that students are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in their future careers.
Looking Ahead: 3rd Annual Reverse Job Fair
Building on the success of the Career Readiness Workshop, WCCC is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Reverse Job Fair, taking place on April 16, 2026, from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. At this event, students will have the opportunity to showcase their newly updated resumes and connect with businesses and organizations regarding potential job opportunities or work-based learning experiences that can earn students credits. Businesses and organizations interested in participating can register and find more details our website. Students can also sign up through the WCCC website. Priority will be given to seniors and work-based learning juniors seeking work experience opportunities. WCCC encourages all local businesses, organizations, and individuals to get involved in this meaningful event that bridges the gap between education and employment.
