Cosmetology

Program Overview: Courses to complete this pathway include: Principles of Barbering & Cosmetology, Barbering & Cosmetology Fundamentals, and Advanced Cosmetology.

Students learn the basic fundamentals of hair design, nail technology, and skin care practicing their techniques on mannequins and customers.  They will be eligible to take the State of Indiana Cosmetology certification.

Barbering and Cosmetology Capstone: Students interested in pursuing a capstone experience could continue their training in a work experience through one of our partner organizations.

Dual Credit: This pathway has the potential to earn dual credit with Vincennes University:

Partner Organizations: Christian and Company, Freestyle

Connection to future career path (this list is not exhaustive): Hairdresser, Cosmetologist, Barber
