Program Overview: Students take the following courses for this pathway Principles of Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Fundamentals, and Corrections and Cultural Awareness.

 

Students will learn basic protocols of crime scene investigation, evidence collection, and law enforcement policies and procedures.  They will gain a better understanding of the complexity of crime, criminal behavior, corrections, and the legal system.

Criminal Justice Capstone: Students interested in pursuing a capstone experience could continue their training through more advanced course work through one of our partner colleges or completing a work experience through one of our partner organizations.

Dual Credit - This pathway has the potential to earn dual credit with Vincennes University: LAWE 100 (3 credit hours), LAWE 150 (3 credit hours), LAWE 101 (3 credit hours), LAWE 145 (3 credit hours)

Connection to future career path (this list is not exhaustive): Paralegal, Lawyer, Judge, Law Enforcement officer
